Testimonials

I would highly recommend The Acting Center to anyone whose child is interested in performing, musical theatre, or who is just looking for a fun and creative outlet. Center Directors Zoe Heath and Jake Simons, both very talented professional actors in their own right, are the heart and soul of the center. They generously share their talent and experience and have created a learning environment that is supportive, respectful, dynamic and, above all, fun. My daughter enjoys The Acting Center so much that we drive in from out of town so she can attend their programs!

As a parent, it is a wonderful thing to see! Zoe and Jake provide a safe, inclusive environment where my kids have been able to learn new skills, and explore their creative side. After my 13 yr old son has spent time under your tutelage; he is engaged, inspired and animated. As a parent, it is a wonderful thing to see! My daughter is gaining confidence in herself; both while having a chance to show her silly side and while learning to explore and convey deeper emotions.

After a fantastic year of growth and fun My son, Tristan Culbert began Acting Technique classes at the Acting Center as a reserved, 10 year old. After the first class and meeting Zoe, we knew it was a really special place and his love of acting began that very night. After a fantastic year of growth and fun with Zoe, he moved into the Musical Theatre class and challenged himself with a completely different set of skills. With the enthusiasm and support of Jake, he really came out of his shell in music and dance. All of these classes stirred something in Tristan that gave him the confidence, skills and desire to become a professional film actor. He has since performed in multiple tv shows, movies, and short films and we continue to turn to Zoe and Jake for industry advice and acting/audition coaching. They are such a generous, talented, and fun couple, and we feel so fortunate that The Acting Center is a part of this exciting journey that my son is on.
